Whether you’re having a summer at home sunbathing in the garden, or whether you’re a lucky one managing to get a flight abroad, you may well be in the market for some of our favourite footwear seasonal highlights.

Here’s some of personal favourites so far this season that’ll hopefully get you in the mood.

Sustainable sandal brand Teva are on a mission to find more ways for people to lesson their impact with the hope of turning the tide of consumption. 100% of their iconic straps are now made from recycled plastic bottles, with 24 million bottles having been diverted from landfill now being used to strapping sandals to your feet. We’ve just taken in a load of the Original Universal Sandal that offers timeless comfort with utilitarian style – a sure summertime classic available for both men and women in an array of colours.

Birkenstock don’t need any introduction. The Arizona, the Milano, the Zurich – they’re all iconic classics. The brand is synonymous with sandals, and for good reason. Timeless style and complete comfort are why beachgoers, city-dwellers and everyone in between has rocked a Birkenstock at some point in their lives. We’ve (almost) got every colour under the sun in the Arizona, from classic Habana and Mink Suede to pastel tones such as Earth Red and Almond.

Slovakian pump-masters Novesta make some of the greatest plimsoles out there, at a high-quality but affordable price. The Star Master is their iconic product that makes a welcomed return season after season. Barely changed since the mid-20th century, for good reason, these are a pair of year-round trainers fit with a vulcanised sole, canvas uppers and a rubber shell toe. White, Sedlova, Military… colours galore, take your pick.

Daiki Suzuki’s Engineered Garments have gotten together with shoe-masters Sebago to create a rugged boat shoe collaboration. Seemingly just in time for the summer sun, this collab sees two USA-based heavyweights combine to create a totally unique collection of heritage silhouettes packed with contemporary features. Sebago brings the shoe expertise, with Engineered Garments adding their archetypal modern and fresh approach. The Coverdeck is a drawstring deck shoe from Sebago x Engineered Garments. Built to last, it’s got a Vibram EVA sole, classy suede uppers, bungee laces, and is finished in an easy-wearing beige colourway. Limited numbers.
